In 3S DENT we want to create a unique dental clinic where our patients can feel relaxed and comfortable and where our work is also our hobby. The clinic offers a professional dental care at the highest level in a friendly atmosphere. We in 3S DENT strongly believe that it can be all achieved by modern technology, application of recent knowledge and what is the most important by individual and unique treatment plan for every of our patients.

Dental Hygiene

Professional dental hygiene is an integral part of dental care and for those, who know how important oral health is, it is as essential as regular dental check-up. Professional dental hygiene prevents various oral health problems (dental caries, gum bleeding and inflammation for example). Two professional dental hygienists are therefore a part of our team in 3S DENT dental clinic.

Tooth Bleaching

It is a common procedure in general dentistry; it whitens natural tooth of patient. There are different types of bleaching: in-office bleaching, at-home bleaching and their combination. It is important to have your teeth examined and professionally cleaned prior to bleaching. We use ZOOM system in-office bleaching together with an at-home bleaching in 3S DENT.

Restorative Dentistry

The main goal of restorative dentistry is to keep teeth healthy and functioning in oral cavity as long as possible. This dental discipline includes preventive examinations - dentists are looking for initial dental problems, and treatment of carious teeth with fillings. If caries is diagnosed early, the treatment is less complicated and more of dental tissues can be saved.

Pediatric Dentistry

Dental care from early childhood is very important for us because with proper motivation and instruction we can prevent caries and other complications at our youngest patients. Pediatric dental care is specific and it requires enough time, that´s why children are treated mainly by young dentists, who are sensitive and patient enough for this task.

Endodontics

Endodontics (root canal treatment) is needed when dental pulp is inflamed or infected. Treatment of such a tooth involves cleaning, disinfection and filling of root canal system. This treatment is technically difficult and time consuming but it allows us to save many non-vital teeth. Prosthetic reconstruction is often needed after endodontic treatment to prevent further damage of tooth.

Prosthetics

Dental prosthetics is dental specialty dealing with the diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of the oral function, comfort, appearance and health of patients with missing or deficient teeth. There is a whole range of fixed (inlays, crowns, bridges) and removable (partial or total dentures) dental prostheses. Modern procedures include also prostheses on implants.

Dental Implants

Implantology is an advanced dental discipline; implants are used to compensate for missing teeth. Prior to placing an implant, a consultation with our surgeon and a 3D CT is needed for detailed and individual treatment planning. Placing an implant is done under local anesthesia; prosthetic phase (crown/bridge/denture) is executed afterwards.

Oral Surgery

In 3S DENT we provide all procedures of oral surgery. The most common procedures are teeth extractions, surgical extractions of impacted teeth, soft tissue surgery (e.g. prior to prosthodontic treatment) and implant placing. All procedures are done under local anesthesia and an excellent postoperative care goes without saying.

Dental X-rays

Examination using dental radiographs (x-rays) is an essential part of proper dental treatment. In our clinic we have panoramic x-ray unit and several intraoral x-ray units. We also provide x-ray examination on request for patients of other dental practitioners. We can burn the x-rays on CD or send to an email.

Treatment under General Anesthesia

We offer treatment under general anesthesia, especially for patients with great dental fear. It is considered mainly for complex procedures for example for serial extractions. General anesthesia is provided by specialist - anesthesiologist, it needs to be carefully planned and general health issues must be taken into consideration.
